| “A
square peg in a round hole” evokes an image of a forced,
impossible fit. Just about everyone has felt like a square
peg at some time in life. When you feel like a square peg,
you feel isolated and lonely, like you don’t fit in.
There is a lot of "forcing the fit"
in the world today. Our educational systems, our medical systems
and even our social systems try to force everyone to “fit
in”. Most of us cope with this pressure fairly well;
but some of us need extra help.
At The Square Peg Foundation, we do
things differently. Our students gain confidence of skills
learned, with better interpersonal skills, and with a motivation
to achieve.
